The Comparative Study On Regional Of Social Insurance Level Among Town Employees Of China

The level of social security is closely related to the level of economic development in a country or a region. A perfect social security system is the power to support the economic and social development. In recent years, our country makes unremitting efforts in adjusting industrial structure. After the implementation of the large-scale development strategy for the western region in 2000, China offers the strategy that revitalize the old industrial base of Northeast and the strategy for the growing up of Central China in 2003 and 2004 respectively, so as to advance the harmonious development of local economic society. At the same time, in order to promote the development of the national economy and improve people's standard of living, State Department of Human Resources and Social Security successfully issued the method of transferring social security accounts of workers moving from one region to another, which makes the study for social security is not only about the Rural-urban Divide, but also refer to the region-dependent segmentation.This paper, based on the previous research, will analyze the economic development and the background of social protection in different regions and especially focus on the social insurance.Basing on the reviews of the concepts of Pension insurance, medical insurance, unemployment insurance, industrial injury insurance and maternity insurance; closely following the latest research in this field; according to the existing eastern, central, western division in China; collecting the related data Of each region; using qualitative and quantitative analysis methods; using SPSS statistical software for statistical data collected, factor analysis, principal component analysis; and it established a regional evaluation index that includes Social insurance benefits, the Operation of social insurance funds, Personal burden of social insurance and Social burden of social insurance. Through analyzing the operation of social insurance in all provinces and cities, summarizing the different levels and reasons of social insurance between the three areas according to the results, and then adopting relevant policies and measures, finally attempt to provide some useful suggestions and strategies for reforming social security in different regions.
