The Case Study On The Independent Research And Design Slim DVD Mechanism In CHPAVC

With the economic globalization, technology innovation has become the decisive force to the enterprise development. China Hualu Panasonic AVC Networks Co., Ltd. (called CHPAVC as follows) followed this trend and put technological innovation on an important position in recent years. It carried out a series of R&D projects and achieved fruitful results. However, some problems of the technology innovation made the technology innovation not to reach the expected target. Therefore, it was necessary to give some proposal and take some measure to enhance the effectiveness of the technology innovation in order to realize the sustainable development of the company according to its own characteristics. The thesis chose the case of independent research and design concerning the slim DVD mechanism in CHPAVC, analyzed the reasons for its success and problems according to the review and summing up of the technology import to the independent research and design of the slim DVD mechanism. It came to a conclusion that the elements of CHPAVC's success in R&D included the leader's innovation consciousness, attention to the technology learning and technology ability accumulation, technology ability's matching with technology innovation, and emphasis of the R&D process management etc. The problems existed in the strong technological dependence on Panasonic and influence by technological substitute etc. On the basis of these, the thesis combined with the present situation of CHPAVC, and provided some advice on the future technology innovation and countermeasure. On one part, it should pay attention to strengthen the development of the technique creative ability. The concrete measure included:establishing the enterprise's technology learning system, strengthening the independent R&D ability, selecting the proper technology innovation mode. On the other part, it should optimize the technology innovation environment. The specific measure includes:setting up the healthy and complete information network, constructing the helpful creative enterprise culture. This study could give some guidance to CHPAVC's future technology innovation, it also could give some important reference for some other joint venture in China.
