Comprehensive Evaluation And Analysis Of Urban Land Intensive Use In Heilongjiang Province

With the quick development of industrialization, the urbanization of China is speeding up. There are also many problems such as the lack of land, traffic jam and city pollution, and so on, accompanying with the development of modern civilization. Although the level of land intensive use is still low in a large number of cities in China, nowadays, the urban land use pattern is from extensive to intensive. The land subject becomes a research hotspot, and it is very necessary and urgent to make research on the urban land intensive use. Therefore, studying on urban land intensive use is not helpful to the development of land use theory, but also the land use practice.This article makes a more comprehensive overview, at first, about the land-use study of domestic and foreign and describes the purpose, meaning, content, method of the study, and then describes the location, resources, environment and socio-economic profiles of Heilongjiang province. Based on the panel dataset of urban built-up area of 12 major cities in Heilongjiang province from 1996 to 2007, this paper analyzes the disparity of city size using the Gini coefficient, variation coefficient and centralized degree. Then, we describe urban size of Heilongjiang with the method of fractional dimension, and find that its rank-size distribution is more reasonable.Based on the research methods both at home and abroad, as well as advanced theories, by collecting information and according to the intension of urban land intensively utilization, this paper construct a comprehensive index system from input level of urban land, its degree, its economic output and ecological environment, about four projects of Heilongjiang province. Using projection pursuit method to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of urban land intensive use in Heilongjiang province, and the analysis and discussion of temporal and spatial distribution characteristics on the intensive level has been done. After that, this paper predicts their future movements and analyzes the condition by gray prediction theory. Evaluation results show that the degree of urban land intensive use in Heilongjiang province is low. Based on the conclusion, this paper implements the measure tend to the urban land intensive use.
