In recent years, along with the continual development of the soail economy, there's an increasing demand for natural resources in the worldwide society. Meanwhile, people's consciousness on environmental protechtion is incessant strengthening, the development of circular economy is the only way to solve the two problems. Iron and steel industry is an important basic industry of our national economy, the last decade the rapid development of China's steel industry and maintain the world's largest steel-producing countries of the position, but mass production, mass consumption, a large number of abandoned traditional modes of production can not meet the steel industry continued to the requirements of rapid development, resource bottlenecks and environmental issues become an obstacle to the development of iron and steel industry, circular economy is an effective way to achieve sustainable development of our iron and steel industry. However, the steel industry to achieve recycling of offal, reducing waste of resources and environmental pollution, to develop circular economy, requires efficient operation of reverse logistics as a support, the paper selected reverse logistics of the steel companies based on the concept of circular economy as the research object, to research basic theory and operation model of reverse logistics of iron and steel industry, through theoretical study and modeling.In this thesis, first, we analyzes the circular economy and the basic theory of reverse logistics. And then, combined with the characteristics of our iron and steel enterprises, we analyzes the necessity and feasibility of the development of reverse logistics and recycling economy, through the summary of results of theoretical studies recycling economy and reverse logistics at home and abroad, and learning the implementation experience of reverse logistics of iron and steel enterprises from home and abroad. Then ,the different reverse logistics models in domestic and foreign steel enterprises were compared in detail to present the enlightenment for the reverse logistics construction in our iron and steel industry. In the consideration of several influence factors of reverse logistics operation model, and combined with the developing situation of reverse logistics of iron and steel enterprises in China, we probe into the suitable development model of reverse logistics of our iron and steel companies. From this study, we can conclude that the suitable development model is an combined model. For the inner reverse logistics business, we adapt self-management model, forward logistics and reverse logistics adapt united network. And for the external reverse logistics business, aimed at the material and energy exchange relationship of the industry and the other industry, we adapt third-party reverse logistics model. Then we study detailedly third-party reverse logistics operation model for the external reverse logistics of the iron and steel enterprises. At the last, we focused on analysis process of how the enterprise select the third-party reverse logistics providers. We set up a third-party reverse logistics providers evaluation index system, and selecting the optimum third-party reverse logistics service provider by the fuzzy comperhensive evaluation.
