The Process Analysis Of Selecting Third-party Reverse Logistics Service Provider

With the development of social economy and the growing people's awareness,in particular,with the proposal of building a harmonious society,more and more consumers require enterprises to emphasize the product recycling and reverse logistics was put to important position.But many companies are not familiar with the field,they can't regularly carry out reverse logistics activities.While,the developing third-party logistics enterprises can help enterprises conduct reverse logistics activities better,by their own professional logistics knowledge and advanced equipment.Therefore,it is urgent for enterprises to decide how to choose a suitable third-party logistics companies to carry out the activities of reverse logistics.Based on the background above,we analyzed the process of how the enterprises select the third-party reverse logistics providers.We firstly introduced present research situation, then started from the actual situation of reverse logistics activities of the companies,we designed a set of decision-making flow chart to help companies select the suitable reverse logistics model.We focused on setting up a third-party reverse logistics evaluation index system and selecting the third-party reverse logistics service provider by the method of the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation and the analytic hierarchy process which is used for qualitative and quantitative analysis in the fuzzy math.Finally,we discussed how enterprises effectively defend and take measures,when they are faced with risks in cooperating with the third-party reverse logistics service provider.We creatively employed fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to select third-party reverse logistics service providers,and analyzed an external factor-subjective wants of third-party reverse logistics service provider,when enterprises make decisions in third-party reverse logistics,which made the basis of decision-making more complete.Establishment of the third-party reverse logistics provider evaluation index system and usage of the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method in the article provided a feasible evaluating foundation for enterprises to select third-party reverse logistics company,which was meaningful theoretically and practically,and in turn,made enterprises carry out reverse logistics activities better and gain more profits.
