For a long time, the proportions of agricultural export in Henan export trade are very small, which is only 4.2% in 2008. This is not match with Henan's status as a big agricultural province in China. After becoming a member of WTO, China benefited from the free trade, yet stays under great pressure. Especially, Green Barriers to Trade which is the most effective and most principal to developed countries make Chinese agricultural export suffer serious losses. Therefore, the study on how to enhance the competitiveness of agricultural exports is significant. Whereas, the documents studying on competitiveness of agricultural export from the perspective of the market players are very rare, on competitiveness of Henan agricultural export much less. This is why I study the market players impacting on competitiveness of Henan agricultural exports. Besides, I wish this paper would point out a way to enhance the competitiveness of Henan agricultural exports.Firstly, this thesis puts forward a point of view that the organization and the degree of ripeness of market players is an essential influence factor of competitiveness of Henan agricultural exports on the basis of researching domestic and international documents of competitiveness of agricultural exports. Secondly, this thesis analyzes the situation of Henan agricultural produce and export and five influence factors of competitiveness of Henan agricultural exports: the extent of marketization, Cost Advantage, added value, Concentration ratio and Policy Support. Thirdly, this thesis studies the influence mechanisms of market players through model, and accounts the exports competitiveness of pork and cider. Finally, this thesis supplies some suggestions such as to specific government functions to establish agricultural production base, to set up agricultural research and development institutions, to encourage the implementation of brand strategy of agricultural products processing enterprises, to foster agricultural exports leading enterprises, to develop agricultural industry associations. The research methods are data analysis and expert assignment.
