Hunan Major Agricultural Export Competitiveness Study

With the acceleration of economic globalization, international trade in agricultural products has become increasingly concerned in the global market. So as to the agricultural export is very important in Hunan's economy.Export competitiveness of agricultural products is a more specific competitiveness of the international. It not noly embodies the agricultural industry of a country's international competitiveness, but also reflects the agricultural enterprises'competitiveness.Firstly, the article states some basic concepts and related theories about the competitiveness of agricultural product. Then use MS,C,D,TC,RCA and CA indicators,measured the competitiveness of the main agricultural products of Hunan. At the sanme time, in order to compare the export competitiveness of main agricultural products in Hunan to other province, the article using the above six indicators, build a model of principal component analysis. Through the model's calculation, we can find the status about Hunan's main agricultural products'export competitiveness in China.Secondly, the article use the Porter's diamond theory analysed the export comptitiveness of main agricultural products in Hunan Province, and then concluded that we must base the situation of Hunan, embody the local characteristics,build some agricutural brands, enhance the technology innovation and make the market standardization. Through these ways, we can promote the export competitiveness about of Hunan's main agricutural products.
