The Study Of Land-expropriated Peasants' Social Security System In China

One of the most important contents for building a harmonious socialist society is the social security system, and the key point is the establishment of land-expropriated peasants'social security systems. With the rapid development of urbanization, there are a large amount of land-expropriated peasants. They face a series of problems including how to lead a life after getting old, health care, employment and so on. Failure to address these issues will probably give rise to social conflicts, affecting social stability and urbanization. Which has increasingly become one of the hot topics of concern in the government, the public and academia. To establish social security system for land-expropriated peasants'is beneficial to achieve integration of urban and rural areas, ensure social stability and protect their benefits. However, this social security is new in terms of status quo in China and it is still under exploring, and there isn't any uniform and complete law or regulation to guarantee their social security rights and interests. Therefore, how to build the land-expropriated peasants' social security systems have very important meaning for social stability and building a harmonious countryside society.This paper adopts theoretic and factual analysis to analyze the current situation, existing problems and their causes of land-expropriated peasants'social security. Meantime, by taking advantage of the practice and experience in solving problems concerning land-expropriated peasants'social security in both developed countries and some developed areas in our country, this thesis puts forward the policy orientation to perfect the social security of land-expropriated peasants and gives a framework for the social security system of land-expropriated peasants.The thesis is divided into six chapters. The first chapter is the introduction about the research background, the significance, the review at home and abroad, the theory and the method of this thesis. In the second chapter, the author mainly takes the resettlement problem for the Xiajiang reservoir emigrants in the county of Jishui, Jiangxi province as an example to analyze the current situation of the land-expropriated peasants, including the concept of the land-expropriated peasants, its generation and development. The author also points out a series of drawbacks existing in the system for land expropriation, which is closely connected with the life condition of the land-expropriated peasants. The third chapter gives an elaborate analysis on the current situation of the social security about the land-expropriated peasants in our country, the existing problems and its cause. In the fourth and fifth chapters, the author makes a brief overview on the successful experience of solving the problems of the land-expropriated peasants national and international, which can give some inspiration to establish the social security system for the land-expropriated peasants in our country. The final chapter describes the method and the basic framework of how to construct the social security system for the land-expropriated peasants in our country. What's more, the. author also proposes the feasible suggestions on how to solve their problems.
