With the global economy and modern logistics, the rapid development of automobile manufacturing machinery industry in China, the rapid development of the new period, and exports of mechanical and electrical products has kept fast growth momentum.The engine crankshaft is an important component part, its production and export repeatedly hitting record highs, but the engine crankshaft can also count for more sophisticated instruments in the process of transportation, the demand is higher, but for protective engine crankshaft cost is not high, if only from the engine crankshaft transport process, so will consider protective of engine crankshaft will transport packaging materials of high requirement, the price will rise, as comprehensive consideration, this is very reasonable, but for engine crankshaft transport packaging material request cannot too low, otherwise it will affect the engine crankshaft transportation quality. So in this form, to the enterprise, choose what kind of transportation and packing, both can satisfy the crankshaft transport process protection, at the same time it became economical,key problems.Value Engineering is a marginalized subject between technical and economic. To the businesses,it is an efficiency and effective way to reduce costs,improve economic, and open up markets. With the development of the times, VE has been widely applied to all aspects of society, such as the business operation, the design management, new product development. In this paper, through data analysis and the actual survey, we obtained our car engine crank transport packaging status and its major problems.we use value engineering theory, techniques and methods developed on the vehicle transport packaging apparatus Crankshaft conducted a systematic analysis and research. Introduction of the functional factor analysis on the options analysis and comparison of the value of coefficients, and then determine their transport packaging equipment options.And Obtain the value of engineering results assessment of economic and social effects.
