Research On Overseas Investment Strategy Of China Petroleum Enterprises

Along with the rapidly development of the world economy, petroleum have become the key strategic resources. As one of the big economic country, the demands of petroleum have gain a lot day by day in our country. At the same time, Owing to the need of economic development and country security, petroleum enterprises in our country should take active part in the world petroleum market competition. In order to make a stable petroleum supply of our country, the petroleum enterprises should take active part in the oversea investment. Nowadays, though the supply of petroleum is beyond the demand of that, the distribution and consumption in area does not in equilibrium. Recently, along with the assistant development of the economic in China, China has become one of the most rapid growth countries in petroleum consumption. At the same time, the three giant petroleum enterprises have successfully undergone optimal adjustments and organization reform, which made the Chinese petroleum enterprises have the foundation and feasibility of FDI. As a result, it is necessary to study on the strategy of Chinese petroleum enterprises'FDI. Referring to the achievement made both at home and abroad, and in accordance with the experiences of the petroleum enterprises'FDI in China, this dissertation mainly consists of the following four parts to illustrate the strategy of Chinese petroleum enterprises'FDI.Firstly, this dissertation analysis the foundation theory of FDI theory and mainly consists of international competition theory, Strategy Management theory and FDI theory.Secondly, this dissertation carries out the SWOT analysis on Chinese petroleum enterprises'FDI: first it analysis the process and characteristic of Chinese petroleum enterprises'FDI. Then, it uses the SWOT method to analysis the overall of petroleum enterprises'FDI in China.Thirdly, on the basis of the SWOT analysis on Chinese petroleum enterprises' FDI, this dissertation layout the strategy of Chinese petroleum enterprises'FDI according to the target market strategy and the approach of carrying out FDI.Finally, according to the actuality of Chinese petroleum enterprises'FDI and the above analysis, this dissertation put forward the policy advice, and point out that the Chinese government should carry out reasonable support in policy to encourage the petroleum enterprises'FDI.
