Study The Classification System Of Forest Products In China

From the late 20th century, the development goal of Chinese Forestry which shifts from single forest harvesting to a protective use of forest harvesting and forest utilization has undergone tremendous change and formed a so-called modern forestry that is not only for resources of the forest products, but also for the protection of the forest and its ecological effects. The historic changes brought fundamental impact to the traditional forestry statistics. This paper learned home and abroad product classification criterion and studied the classification of line and surface classification methods, product classification principles and product classification. Forest products of China can be divided into four domains by using linear classification method which is forest and forest products, forest tourism and ecosystem services, forestry management and the product of forestry-related activities, and then the four subjects were gradually broken down, eventually Chinese forest products are classified into 13 categories,38 categories,134 small groups,361 groups,605 groups based by the use of product, the product of raw materials, production methods and products chemical composition and others.
