With the acceleration of economic globalization and the rapid development of information technology,more and more automotive parts enterprises enter China market,and the industry competition becomes more and more fierce.At the same time,the increasing cost of manpower and material resources also brings great challenges to the enterprises.Under this situation,in order to maximize the profit,the enterprises must strengthen the market competitiveness,reduce the operation cost on the premise of ensuring the "high quality" of the products,and improve the innovation ability of the enterprises,so as to promote the long-term and healthy development of the enterprises.As a high-tech enterprise,H company has already been established for five years.Time is short and the development of H company is not mature.There are still many problems in the procurement department where i work,especially in supplier management which is still in a state of little regulation,little control and high risk.In order to enhance the enterprise's competitiveness and profit maximization,it is imperative to strengthen the management of suppliers.Through supplier management,H company can not only reduce the procurement cost and management cost,but also stabilize the production chain of the enterprise,enhance the basic strength and improve the core competitiveness.Firstly,basing on the theory of ABC Classification Method,the paper classify the existing indirect materials of H company,namely main materials,secondary materials and general materials,and sets different purchasing strategies for different types of indirect materials.In addition,basing on the theory of Kraljic Matrix Classification,accordingly to the materials importance and availability,the paper more accurately divides the indirect materials into strategic materials,bottleneck materials,general materials and lever materials,and adopt differentiated purchasing strategy to achieve the goal of reducing procurement costs.Secondly,as the purchasing system of H company is not mature,and it lacks of scientific and effective supplier evaluation system,when choosing suppliers,the buyers reply on the suppliers' company details,market reputation or subjective assumption,or pay more attention to the early performance of the suppliers,such as quality,price and delivery time.To address this problem,the paper has clarified the method and the principle for H company to select suppliers,and developed a comprehensive and rigorous process by optimizing the current process.Finally,the paper expounds principles,dimensions,indicators and methods of supplier performance management,deep study the related theoretical knowledge,and analyze the limitations of evaluation index.The study in this paper has a guiding role for the supplier management of H company in the future.Hope it can be used for reference and guidance to enterprises in the same industry.
