Study On The Community Participation And Impact Perception Of Harmonious Development In Rural Tourism

Since 1980s, rural tourism has developed rapidly in China. More and more districts have chosen to develop rural tourism in order to promote economic growth, accelerate the building of new countryside, and create a harmonious society. However, there are still plenty of problems in present rural tourism development. The outside investments bring benefits outflow, while community operation can hardly get rapid development.This paper focuses on the relationship of community participation in rural tourism and harmonious development of the community, analyze the impacts of community development under the behavior content and strength of community residents in rural tourism development, and study the relationship between the impact of these different aspects and the harmonious development of the community in rural tourism. The relationship this paper discusses only based on community resident perception. Through the above research and analysis, this paper hopes to explore the key factors which impact community harmonious development in the rural community resident level during the process of tourism development, and promote the development of rural tourism and the community more harmonious.Base vast of literature this paper sets the hypothetical model between community participation in rural tourism and community harmony development, designs the initial measurement scale,then through resident interviews, expert advice and research on the measurement scale to pre-modified and obtain the final survey questionnaire and the revised hypotheses.This paper selects the districts near Lhasa which have developped rural tourism as a case of empirical research. In the April-May 2010, the arthor chooses 217 farmers in three villages to do the questionnaire survey, and then tests the relationship model between community participation and harmonious development of community to prove or disprove the hypothesis subsequent by factor analysis. This paper focuses on the relationship between the behaviors of community residents'participation during rural tourism development process and the harmonious development of community. It is a certain innovation. The empirical case of this paper selectes villages around Lhasa, it is great significante for the promotion of the development in the western minority areas'tourism industry.
