On The Role Of Local Government In Building Security Housing System

Government has to construct security housing as an important governance functions to solve the housing problems. realizing the right of people's living. However, there are still some prominent problems in the construction and management of security housing, such the system is not perfect, slow-building, etc.In this paper, I'll study the role of local government as a point view, summarize a number of successful experience of some countries and regions in constructing security housing, research the original role of our local government in building security housing system, which is a system engineering, it includes the supply system, institutional system, financial system and monitoring system, etc. Local government should follow the principles of systematicness and moderation in building security housing system, maintain the bottom line of social equity, promote the formation of supply and institutional system, and coordinate the relationship between the local governmentand other parties in the financial system, expand the sources of funds for housing construction, set up a special department to supervise and manage the security housing, pay attention to the function of Community Residents Committee.
