As we all know college students are the resources of human talents and the hope of the nation, the future of our motherland. Medical insurance for college students connects with the vital interests of each college and the relationship between social harmony and stability. In recent years, with the reform of China's medical insurance system.China's health care system has greatly improved than in the past, many respects have been continually improved. Up to now, China has established the basic medical insurance system, flexible employment, migrant workers, migrant workers, individual businesses and town residents are also included in the scope of health insurance, farmers have new cooperative medical insurance has been implemented in the country. But for college students, in order to substantive areas into the national social security there is a certain process, which is bound to the current health care system in colleges and universities poses a challenge. Study and complete the health insurance system has great and far-reaching significance for ensuring the students health system improving the social security system and promoting socialist harmonious society.In this paper, literature review and comparative study, social research, case analysis as the basic method of investigation. First, the paper read a lot of academic researches on the insurance status of college students, summarized the college students'current insurance situation in our country and some national reforms and research results in college students. Secondly, this paper combined with the research information in major universities of Fuzhou city. Also it analyzes the current students' demand and supply of health services and the shortages of health insurance system. Thirdly, through the deep analysis of students medical insurance system in the United States, Germany, Britain, France and other respective countries, summed up the revelation for the medical insurance system development in China. Finally, combined with the reform of security system and education system and the development trend of medical security system this paper came up with some suggestions and strategies to improve college students medical insurance system.Although this medical insurance for college students provides a development and improvement of multi-channel "audio feedback" and has some maneuverability, however the first line of information and research to grasp the depth is not enough, there are still a lot to be further research. This article aims to initiate, in order to help the government departments to improve the health care system and make strategic decision. And provide a reference guide for college students health insurance for more research to establish a kind of medical security system which can protect the vital interests of students effectively.
