Quality System Basic Application And Research In SGM's Supplier Quality Management

In the automotive field, auto production has been globalized, the supplier chain of auto parts is not only long but also widely. Normally a car made by more than ten thousand parts, for the automotive OEMs, they are mainly depend on their suppliers, from suppliers of parts procurement costs account for almost 80% of vehicle cost, so that how to improve the auto parts supplier's product quality is critical for automotive OEMs.In this paper, to integrate theory with practical ways to Shanghai General Motors (SGM) of some suppliers as research objects, summarized SGM using Quality System Basic (QSB)'s suppliers'application and results. Paper reviews the background and the birth of QSB and its theoretical basis and application status at China and abroad.To analysis of QSB for the need for supplier quality management on the basis of the QSB SGM vendor application in the preparatory work of the QSB supplier selection, QSB seminars, QSB training, QSB audit carried out in depth. A detailed analysis of QSB in SGM Supplier Quality Management about fast response, control of nonconforming product, standardized operation, standardized operator training, status validation,sediment control; A detailed analysis of QSB in SGM Supplier Quality Management system construction for Construction Risk control, error profing, layered audits, supply chain management applications.Finally,in the SGM QSB Supplier Quality Management analyzes the effect of the application.This research process and methods can be applied to those enterprises for the domestic vehicle, above the average size of parts suppliers in its downstream suppliers to improve quality management and provide useful reference.
