Research On The Setting Of The Control System In Enterprise Inventory Based On ERP

ERP, short for Enterprise Resource Planning, is a management platform that provides means and methods for the company administrators and the employees to make any company-related decision with a systematic management thinking on an IT basis. This program, with its intensive managing content and the advanced management thinking, meets the demand of the company to configure resources and enhance the inner administration. Therefore, many corporations operate the ERP system to improve the regulation of operation and enhance the core competitiveness of the company.In order to adapt to the new management pattern of 3G marketing strategy, integrate the inner managing resources of the company and to improve the operation efficiency, the ERP project is introduced into Shandong Unicom in February,2nd,2010.Inventory management is a key part of strengthening the inner management of the company and of improving standards of fine management. It is one of the important modules in ERP system. A perfect inventory management can regulate and supervise the entire inventory in the company, thus reducing the cost, helping the company to make quick decision and strengthening the competitiveness of the company.With the aid of the ERP, Shandong Unicom takes a further step to integrate the operation regulation of the former companies, improve the operating criterion and enhance the supervision of materials so as to detail the inventory management.On the basis of analyzing into the current inventory management of Shandong Unicom, this thesis researches into the framing of the controlling system in the operation of the inventory module in EPR system in Shandong Unicom. Firstly, this paper gives a general introduction of the ERP system and some relative theories in the inventory management. Secondly, the paper analyzes into the current situation of inventory management and the problems existed. The stress is laid on the operation of the controlling system in the module and the specific framing plan of the system. At last, the paper gives a feedback on the change of the controlling system in the inventory management after the ERP project is put into use and explains the key elements led to the successful operation of the system.
