The Dialectical Thinking On Consumption PatternReform And Ecological Civilization Promotion

In the report of the Seventeenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China, Hu Jintao pointed out that we should promote eco-civilization and basically form industrial structure growth pattern and consumption pattern economizing resources and environmental conservation. At the present reform, consumption mode is one of the main fields of ecological civilization promotion. The thesis firstly points out the meaning of consumption, the connotation, composition and the affecting factors of consumption pattern. Basing on that, it probes into the positive changes of consumption pattern since the reform and opening up policy, and analyzes emphatically the current problems existing in the consumption pattern in China. After pointing out the difficulties of industrial civilization, this thesis puts forward that eco-civilization is the wise choice of the global eco-environmental problems. It also analyses the present Chinese consumption pattern, eco-civilization promotion, as well as the significance of the consumption pattern reform to the eco-civilization. It especially expounds the internal connection between eco-civilization promotion and consumption pattern. The former decides the aim and value orientation of the latter and provides system security, science and technology support; the latter provides the former with talents, social atmosphere and practical basis. As the inevitable choice of consumption pattern reform, eco-consumption is presented as: moderate consumption, pursuit of more spiritual consumption, emphasis on saving resources, environment protection and fair consumption. What's more, it must be beneficial to maintain the ecological balance to improve the relationship between man and nature, to promote the all-round development of human beings and social harmony. Under the guidance of these value principles, proposed ecological consumption patterns of the specific path.Guided by dialectical materialism and historical materialism, the thesis is fully expounded by a combined means of theory and practice, history and logics, analysis and synthesis, as well as illustration and contrast.
