Since China's reform and opening up, China's export-oriented industries have experienced rapid development, commonly from import-substituted to export-oriented, which conform to the flying geese model of Akamats and Kojima. The flying geese model refer to that industries develop according to the path as "import-domestic production-export", progressing from crude and simple goods to complex and refined goods, transmissing from developed countries to developing countries in the South Asia. The television industry is one of the export-oriented industries in our country, having typical representative significance in the home appliance industry. Considering the avalibility of datas, this paper take China's television industry as example, verify the flying geese model of the development of China's export-oriented industries, and analyze the new features under the condition of FDI inflows and techlogical progress, further developing the theory. By far, scholars focus on the transmission of industries in South Asia for theoretical and paratical study on flying geese model, rarely referring to the comprehensive contents of the model. Therefore, study for this paper is to some extent explorsive, which endow the paper with theoretical and practical significance.According to a large number of statistical data, this paper analyzes from trade perspective the history and current status of China's television industry, verifies the FG paradigm of China's television industry from original, diversification and regional transmission implications, and extends the model considering different conditions in open economy. Finally, with the time series data and log-linear regression model, the paper studies the factors that influencing the television FG model supplemented by CMS analysis. The results indicate conclusions as follows:First, the international market share of China's television export increases continuously, revealed comparative advantage (RCA) keeps going up, implementing the raising international status; Second, the development path of China's television industry and sub-industry perform the FG paradigm, so do the diversification pattern and regional transmission in East Asia; Third, in the open economy, FDI inflows and technological progress changes the "import-domestic produce-export" FG paradigm, allowing several import waves rather than one and export possibly earlier than domestic production, besides, the time interval between import equals domestic production and import equals export shortens obviously. Fourth, the prosperity of real estate industry, rising of world GNP per person as well as technological progress are the main factors that influence the FG paradigm of television industry.
