Since 1990's, the tilapia export of China grows rapidly, and it reaches the top at the beginning of 21 century. Now, China is the biggest product and export country. However, the products are mainly on primary, low in additional value and the margin is getting down. It shows that the structure of China Tilapia Industry has some problems. Hence, as the competitive is rising, it is very important to get a research on the China Tilapia Industry structure and how to prove it.Bases on the research of professors, the article studies the status of China tilapia export and points out that the industry has the characters of high export, unstably and low margin. The writer uses competitive indexes to indicate that China Tilapia Industry has high advantages in resources and export, while less advantages in price compare, the trading structure of China Industry needs prove.Meanwhile, writer uses Market Powder index to calculate the Market Powder of China tilapia in U.S. market, and compare it with the same code of cod-fishing of U.S. in Japan market. As a result, the China tilapia has a low market powder in U.S. market, low in price setting ability. From the industry view, it shows that China tilapia industry has low in criterion of manufactory and less ability in sales function.To analyses the impact reasons of China Tilapia Industry, it lies:China in rich in water district and cheap labor, it is the base of showed advantages of China Tilapia industry. Meanwhile, China Tilapia Industry high depends on Euro and American markets, the functional industries to Tilapia do not enough is the key points to restrict the development of China Tilapia Industry.So, the study indicates that to enhance the advantage of China Tilapia Industry, it should break through the districts:improve the quality of tilapia products; build brands; enlarge sales channels and quicken the built of Tilapia ISOC. They are the bases on improve the advantages of China Tilapia Industry from time to time.
