| China is a big agricultural country that has 1.3 billion population and agriculture is the basis of the national economy. The agricultural trade volume of domestic and international is growing year by year, so it has a huge market demand for fresh agricultural products. As the fresh agricultural product with highly characteristics of perishable, it requires the refrigerate conditions in storage, transportation and sales. While the level of development of cold chain in China is far behind the developed countries, therefore, company needs to find a balance between demand and inventory. It not only satisfies the daily needs, but also allows enterprises to minimize the total cost (or maximum total profit).This paper discusses the characteristics of fresh agricultural product, inventory control functions and model components. According to the characteristics of deterioration and demand of fresh agricultural, uses the way of mend EOQ to around the time impact of demand and deterioration rates, the price impact of demand, customer waiting time affect the amount of parts shortages and other factors delayed the supply rate, it focuses on inventory control model of fresh agricultural product in these two conditions that allowing shortages and not. It Uses Matlab7.0 to analysis example and sensitivity, find the impact of different parameters on the order quantity and total cost (or gross profit). It testifies the model can be applied. Then use Witness system simulation to verify the practicability and effectiveness in the one of the inventory control model. It provides a theoretical basis for the inventory manager to determine the best order cycle and order quantity to the fresh agricultural product.Preservation of fresh agricultural product is very short period. This study not only can reduce logistics cost and avoid unnecessary waste, but also to reasonable control the enterprise's inventory. It has very important theoretical and practical significance. |
