The Study On Evolution Of Henan Tourism Spatial Layout

The overseas study for regional tourism spatial structure, beginning in the 1960s, was earlier than domestic study. It is one of the important development branches for the location theories. Regional tourism spatial structure reflects the tourism elements in the space of contact, the recognition of tourism elements will become the premise for the space structure research. Scholars both at home and abroad have discussed the tourism spatial elements, and they have made important achievements. According to materials at hand, my paper has discussed the evolution of tourism spatial layout in Henan province from three aspects, namely, the tourist scenic area, tourist transportation and tourist city. On this basis, my Paper analyzes the dynamic mechanism of evolution for the tourism spatial layout, and predicts the future development trend of tourism spatial layout in Henan province.This paper consists of seven chapters:The first chapter: introduction. This part is about the background and significance of thesis-choosing, the research idea and main contents, research methods and technical route, and the main innovation points;Chapter 2: research progress. It overall sums up the tourism spatial structure and transportation and tourism research situation. It lays the foundation for the subsequent chapters'architecture research;Chapter 3: theoretical basis. It includes the frequently-used basic concept and basic theory in the space layout study, for example, tourism transportation, tourist destination, tourist spatial structure, tourism system theory, "Point-Axis System" theory, tourist location theory, growth pole theory etc., which is convenient for the expression and research of the core content of the space layout;Chapter 4: Evolution of the tourism spatial layout. According to the tourism development characteristics in Henan province, its development time is classified into three stages:1949-1978, 1979-1999,and 2000– now. The ArcGIS tool is used for spatial analysis for each stage, and eventually the distribution characteristics of various stages are concluded, namely, in the first stage (1949-1978) the gini coefficient for the scenic spot is 0.8723, which presents a centralized distribution characteristic, i.e. 61.12% of the scenic spots was distributed within 40 kilometers around the Longhai railway; In the second stage (1979-1999) the gini coefficient for the scenic spot is 0.8912, presenting the centralized distribution characteristic, i.e. 63.22% of the scenic spots was distributed within 40 km around vertical distance of the Longhai railway and Beijing-Guangzhou railway; In the third stage (2000 - now) the gini coefficient for the scenic spot is 0.8349, i.e. 77.59% of the scenic spots whether above A level or triple-A level are intensively distributed within 40 km around the Beijing Hong Kong and Macao high-speed, Lianhuo high-speed, Daguang high-speed, 207 national highway (Jiyuan-Pingdingshan section), and 311 national highway (Pingdingshan-Xixia section), which join together like a Chinese character"卅". Therefore, the spatial layout of Henan tourism classifies for three stages. Namely, the first stage is like the word "一", the second stage like the word "十" and the third stage like the word "卅";Chapter 5: The mechanisms analysis for the evolution of the tourism spatial layout. First this chapter summarizes the factors that affect the evolution of tourism spatial layout in Henan province, then the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) is used to sort the influencing factors and finally six key factors are concluded, namely the national tourism competition-cooperation situation, the regional economic development level, the traffic pattern changes, the spatial distribution of tourism resources, the demand changes of tourism product and the structure of regional tourism industry. On this basis, the paper analyzes the dynamic mechanism and evolution mechanism of Henan tourism spatial layout;Chapter 6: The evolution tendency of Henan tourism spatial layout. The paper forecasts the evolution tendency of Henan tourism spatial layout in future on the basis of the above analysis. This paper argues that with the development of the tourism and the transportation infrastructure construction, three emerging tourist industry axis will be formed in Henan province, namely, the southern Taihang mountain sightseeing leisure belt in northwestern Henan province, the western Funiu ecological tourism, the red tourism belt in the southern Tongbo-Dabie mountain, the pattern of tourism spatial layout evolves from the Chinese character"卅"to"世";Chapter 7: The conclusion. This chapter, serving as the epilogue and outlook parts, has a holistic review for the research results in the whole thesis and makes an explanation for the areas which later need to be further studied.
