World heritage is admittedly the unique and outstanding cultural heritage and natural landscape. At present, forty kinds of intangible heritage haven been included in "World Heritage List" in China. China has been the country owning the third most world heritage, world heritage is an important part of domestic tourism, and has attracted more and more tourists. With the rapid development of the "tourist-oriented"era of travel experience, the satisfaction of the tourists, the leading role of heritage tourism has a direct influence on the sustainable development of world heritage. So more and more scholars are concerned about how to maximize the satisfaction of tourists in heritage tourism.This paper studies the Longmen Grottoes, one of the largest three Grottoes, and there are some reasons below: the Longmen Grottoes is a masterpiece of humanity; the Longmen Grottoes is a model of Chinese Cave art, and is filled with plenty of inner belief and emotion. the Longmen Grottoes,the first World heritage in Henan province plays an important role in promoting the development of Henan. Currently there is little research on the Longmen Grottoes in China, and it did not match the identity of the Longmen Grottoes as the world heritage and Henan as the cultural province. At present, there are many researches on the satisfaction of the tourists at home and abroad, but there is little researches on the satisfaction of the world heritage because the research on the satisfaction in tourism destination is more complicated than that of single service or product. So far there is no researches on the caves Culture. Based on analysis above, this paper attracts representative factors that influent the satisfaction of the tourists, and built a model on the satisfaction of the tourists in tourist attractions, referred the IPA method, analyzed the satisfaction of the tourists in the Longmen Grottoes. There are five parts in this paper, the major elements are shown below:Chapter one is the introduction. This part elaborates the background, significance researching method and Innovation of the research on the satisfaction of the tourists in the world heritage.Chapter two is the review of literature and basic theory. This part introduced the research status on the satisfaction of the tourists and he world heritage at home and abroad, and compared the research status at home and abroad, included some inspire: There is no research on the satisfaction in the world heritage Longmen Grottoes, so this research is unique. The world heritage should be researched from micro to macro. Based on the classic and sophisticated theory, this paper studied the satisfaction in the world heritage Longmen Grottoes adopting the'expectation - perception difference'theory. and systematically elaborated the customers'satisfaction theory, tourism motivation theory, "halo effect" theory and simple perception theory.Chapter three is the index model and evaluation Index of tourist attractions, attracted related factors of the world heritage, built the model of the satisfaction in the tourist attractions, and elaborated the the index model and evaluation Index of tourist attractions. The overall first class indicator is'the index of the satisfaction in the world heritage Longmen Grottoes'in this research. The second class indicator is small number of key factors which were attracted from the third class indicator. The third class indicator is the factors which might affect the satisfaction in the world heritage. The third class indicator is the expansion of the second class indicator, and is the questions from the conversion of the second class indicator in the questionnaire.Chapter four is the empirical study of the world heritage, this part carried out reliability analysis, variance analysis with the software SPSS17.0, and conducted factor analysis,and 24 indicators was integrated into the 5 factors. The the reasonableness of satisfaction questionnaire was tested by reliability analysis. Furthermore with the IPA method the satisfaction of the Longmen Grottoes was evaluated, and some inclusions was got. At last five suggestions were proposed: (1) determining the demand and characteristics of the market, sales innovation .( 2) providing human services based on the satisfaction of the tourists.(3) Increasing the characteristics of tourism commodity, building experiential shopping system, enriching exhibition in tourism destination.(4) deeply mining experience of the tourists in the world cultural heritage.(5) improving traffic system and commentary facilities.(6) Reasonably easing the passenger flow.Chapter five is the conclusion and outlook. summarizeing the main conclusions and further topics to be studied.
