We can manage engineering construction and control the project investment only on the guide of the advanced management ideas, a scientific and reasonable engineering management system and subjective active cooperators.The characteristics of college engineering construction projects are that it service education, it is satisfy the requirement for teaching, scientific research and life. The project investment completely match the requirement of teachers and students. The goal of the investment control is to reasonably determine and effective control the maximize efficiency of the project cost.The College owner will attend the while project from the beginning to the end. It will play a decisive role to the project cost control since the project cost management is more important. Meanwhile, the area of the project cost management is broad and have many uncertainty elements. In the process of project building will appear many unforeseeable matters, so we need to control the project cost of the entire process.Beijing Olympic Games wrestling competition stadium is one of four Olympics stadiums in Beijing university campuses. it is first start to built and is an internationally advanced level and comprehensive gymnasium. It is the university major construction project. The project management is standard, highly effective, safe. The engineering quality standards is the highest. The investment control is good.In this thesis we take as the owner of the Beijing Olympics wrestling competition stadium to investigate the investment management of this construction project by using the relative theory and practice. The content are as follows:(1) from the construction, investment, management to the Beijing Olympic Games wrestling competition stadium, we will show the purpose, significance, research approach and content of this study.(2) from the engineering cost concept, it will shown the engineering cost composition and cost management content.(3) reviewing and analyzing each construction stage of the implementation process and method to the Beijing Olympic Games wrestling competition stadium, we will obtain the important conclusion about each construction stage cost control for college major construction projects.
