In the face of more diversified and personalized demand of customers, and product homogeneity and market trend of increasing competition, regard to the uncertainties we face economic environment, the future success of contemporary companies depends on their innovative business model, instead of normal product update and technical renovation. Research about business model is currently focused on new industries including IT industry, finance and retail, etc. The study of traditional manufacturing business model is presently lacking. As a well-known company in the manufacturing industry, Schneider Electric China deeply tapped their own advantages, followed the industrial characteristics and the trend of economic development, and then formed its own unique business model, so the research on its business model has practical significance.On the basis of reviewing and analyzing the current theoretical research on business model, the unique definition of business model is formed. On account of Schneider Electric (China) features, the theoretical research framework is integrated by the profit mechanism, resources configuration and organizational structure, and subsequently the profile of Schneider Electric China is briefly introduced.In accordance with the theoretical structure of business model, the paper comprehensively deconstructs the business model of Schneider Electric China, that is:the dynamic combination of profit mechanism including innovative products supply, providing integrated solutions and contract energy management; the resource configuration of internal integration, mergers and acquisitions and outsourcing; the organizational structure characterized by the market-oriented business units and the flat organization.Finally summaries and explains the Schneider Electric China business model development trend and stages from manufacturing to services, subsequently proposes the experience and inspiration based on the business model of Schneider Electric China to promote Change and transition of other manufacturing companies.
