As an important part of enterprise marketing strategy,the establishment of distributor channel determine whether a company facing competition is going to be successful or not.It’s essential for channel design,implementation,control and adjustment to adapt to marketing environment changes in order to satisfy customers demands to a great extent.Distributors competency and channels quality are viewed as a significant ctriteria to measure enterprise core competence under more sharply competitve marketing economy.Channel definition and categories have been demonstrated clearly in many business administration research.but it’s a very ctritical topic for an industrial manufacturing enterprise to set up favourable relationship with distributors.In this article opinion, the company should develop a kind of long-term cooperation partnership with its channels. Because distributors regarded as sales extension of enterprise not only act as an channel between manufacturers and customers,but also a creator of additional value, which require them having more specialized accomplishment.Based distributors channel development of Schneider Electric corporation industrial business company.The article introduces what the channel strategy and conception ofchannel design for different business units are,analyzes how the marketing environment changes influence industrial automation channel operation pattern,and which adjust-ments have been adopted by competitors. Subsequently, with the help of SWOT analy-sis, the problems of existing channel model was discovered.Finally,through comparison between two feasible plans,to establish a specialist distributors channel system is pro-posed as an optimized scheme,meanwhile,a set of implementation details are suggested in article according to this scheme.There is the whole distributors improvement strategy summary at the last section,in addition,the article puts forward prospective for innovative methods of channels manage- ment in future.the specialist distributors channel scheme accords with long-term partner- ship strategy from Schneider Electric corporation,which boost core competition establish -ment of company greatly.
