Study On The Evaluation Of Informatization Level Of Shipping Enterprises

With the rapid development of information technology, information wave swept off all over the word. From the national, regional to the industry and business, information is becoming more and more widely. The application of information technology is gaining in popularity. Information has become a necessary condition for the survival and development for modern company. Shipping companies, because of its business and complex objects, need more support of information. However, with the rapid development of information technology, shipping companies invest more and more, but the effect is not the same proportion of the increase. But for the survival and development, the investment has to be continued, so the "information black hole "is becoming more and more obvious. Today, information technology is rapid developing, how to avoid errors and correct mistakes, to increase the enterprise's core competitiveness, is very significance.Present, for specific business, such as manufacturing, coal chemical industry, power companies, hospitals and other enterprise, information technology evaluation has been researched a lot of. But there isn't the information evaluation of the shipping business. This paper through the status research of shipping companies, based on the concept of the shipping enterprise information, features, business process characteristics, at home and abroad from the macro, micro information on the evaluation index system and evaluation methods, based on the index system to follow the principle of establishing a level of information for the shipping company evaluation index system and evaluation methods, evaluates the level of shipping companies information. Finally, with examples, this paper analysis and evaluate the results, understand the status quo of enterprise, assess the effect of the implementation information, and find the shipping business's problems from the evaluation results. For the development of shipping companies'information technology, it plays a role of guidelines.
