Comparative Research On The System Of The Insurance Broker In China And England

With the development of China, the function of the insurance broker to the market is more and more important. The quick development of the insurance market and the constant adjustment and improvement of the law provide a powerful guarantee for the insurance broker. But there are always some defects which cry for solutions, such as the unclear law status, the lack of the self-regulatory organization, and the lack of the relevant law. So, we should pay attention to its development and insist on improving the system of the insurance broker. In this paper, we focus on comparative studies to give some advises of improvement by mirroring mature system in England.This paper is composed of five chapters.Chapter one is about the origin and development, legal status and the essence of the England insurance broker's system.Chapter two introduces the supervision system of the England insurance broker. We mainly inquire into the history, the existing supervision system and the law.Chapter three gives the civil right and obligation of the England insurance broker by his role during the period of the contract.Chapter four discusses insurance broker's system in China, including the overview of the insurance broker, the civil right and obligation, the supervision system and the defects of the insurance broker's system in China.Chapter five explains how to improve our country's insurance broker system by mirroring England insurance broker's system, including relocating the status of the insurance broker, constructing a supervision system under the country and the self-regulatory organization, improving the relevant law and analyzing whether we should introduce the policy line.Chapter six is the conclusions.
