Research Of Tourism Issues In Tourist City Planning

As an emerging green industry, tourism will become one of impetus of world economic development in the 21st century. With abundant tourism resources and development of the reform and opening up over 30 years, China has made forward to the world of great tourism power. The rapid expansion and industrial upgrade of tourism has presented new challenges to many cities during the process of urban planning and tourism planning. Especially for the tourist city, city planning plays an important role in the development of tourism.Due to the particularity of industrial structure and city resources, it makes development of tourist city different from small and medium-sized cities. The primary issue in city development is effective utilization and protection of tourism resources. Changes in city structure cased by development of tourism industry is vital to city overall development. It requires that the city has the reasonable planning and layout in development process, first to meet tourism development and then drive the related industries, so as to promote urban pattern optimization and make cities play more functions.tourism of Enshi is famous with mysterious natural scenery, unique cultural connotation and good ecological environment. Thought starting late, tourism development in Enshi is developing rapidly. With fully open of shanghai-chengdu expressway and the Yi Wan railway, it makes Enshi's traffic location advantages more prominent, tourist arrivals exploded, tourism industry income occupied a high proportion in the city GDP growth, and tourism development into a new stage. Against this background, Enshi city needs to have more reasonable planning to make its urban development and tourism give full play to adapt to Enshi as tourist destination and distributing centre function, and drive the rapid development of other industries, continue to improve the urban pattern in future development.Based on the theory of city planning related research, the paper discussed reciprocity between development of tourism and city planning, demonstrated direction of Enshi construction toward tourist city. Then, based on tourism development, the paper put corresponding measures for urban planning. Finally, the paper discussed the new round of Enshi planning. The research included:(1) Status of Enshi tourism industry development and the future development of tourism opportunities;(2) Put forward clear position for the city development of Enshi;(3) Propose corresponding development measures of Enshi tourist city planning.This thesis mainly prepares for next overall planning of Enshi to service for Enshi overall planning. It will make Enshi develop toward the" characteristic of Tujia people livable ecological country tourism", and become an important part of" Western hubei ecological culture".
