The Valuation On The Capability Of Science And Technology Innovation In Shanxi Province

With the development of science and technology, technological innovation is not only a key to the survival and development of an enterprise, but also playing an important role in the economy of the provinces, the national, or even the whole world. The rapid development of science and technology makes a lot of countries re-plan and deploy of new technology development strategy to promote the further integration of technology and economy. At present, the international pattern which China is facing is driven by technology innovation, and technology strength and innovation capacity determine the rise and fall of economy. Faced with these Challenges , we not only have to make the focus on innovation,but ought to enhance the innovative spirit and ability. Typically, the technological development and innovation ability of a province also can reflect the comprehensive competitiveness of the province. Only when one province improves the innovation ability of science and technology, can it make itself invincible in the competition. How to make the scientific and technological innovation promote the economic development in Shanxi Province is very significant for the economic competitiveness.This paper views the theory and results of international research and mainly takes the regression analysis, canonical correlation analysis and factor analysis. Combined with economic development and technological innovation in Shanxi Province, this paper makes the re-examine and deep analysis about the relationship of them. First of all, this paper begins with the basic concept of scientific and technological innovation, focusing on the meaning and significance of technological innovation. Then, by selecting the most typical indicators to show the economic development and technological innovation ability, such as GDP, R & D funding, the number of patent applications and licensing, it makes the regression analysis for correlation analysis. To research the nonlinear interaction about the scientific and technological innovation to the economic development, this paper established evaluation index system and takes the canonical correlation analysis on the technological innovation capability of Shanxi Province and economic development .And then, making the contrast between the capital of six provinces in central on the state of scientific and technological innovation capacity, this paper clearly shows the gaps between the enterprise in Shanxi Province and other provinces in central.This paper concludes through empirical analysis that there are a lot of problems in the process of technological innovation in Shanxi, and notes the reasons through deep analysis to identify the fundamental factors of scientific and technological innovation. At the same time, it comes up with the countermeasures and policy to accelerate technological innovation and enhance economic development in Shanxi Province.
