The Research On Regional Technology Innovation Capacity Of Shanxi Province

Research on regional technology innovation is a hot research issue for many experts and scholars, in which great achievements have been made in academic circles at home and abroad. Through the use of qualitative analysis, quantitative analysis (index system, building a comprehensive evaluation of quantitative models) and other means, this paper makes comprehensive evaluation of the level of regional technological innovation capability, innovation efficiency and economic development. Particularly through the establishment of relevant mathematical models, this paper makes quantitative study of technological innovation relationship with regional economic development. We build a reasonable, comprehensive index system so as to correctly reflect regional technological innovation in Shanxi Province and to find out the cause of the status quo of Shanxi in technological innovation. The study will also improve the regional innovation capabilityin Shanxi Province, build a reasonable regional innovation system and provide some valuable suggestions.This paper, using the factor analysis, extracted three integrated factors from 18 indicators of the regional technological innovation ability evaluation system. Three factors, respectively, reflect the regional scientific and technological level, regional economic and technical efficiency. The results show that Shanxi is in the middle and lower position over the country, which ranked respectively No.18,15 and 18, integrated ranking 18th.The results show that low level of technology and technical efficiency in Shanxi Province is largely due to weak technological level and the low level of investment in scientific and technological activities, low levels of high-techindustrialization, poor mobility of innovational knowledge and low openness of the companies. Finally, to strengthen these weak links, this paper proposes to increase the awareness of innovation, increase technological innovation, strengthen research cooperation and improve knowledge diffusion capacity.
