Good professional ethics is the core of the guides'professionalism and is the lifeline of the development of the travel industry nowadays. With the adjustment and the redistribution of the national industrial structure, the tourist industry has been more and more important as the strategic pillar industry in China's national economy. The travel agency is an important component of the tourist industry and its impact cannot be ignored. In recent years, however, in recent years, the guides'lack of the professionalism has received much media attention and has become the focus of the tourists'complaints. As the base of the tour guide staff training, the tourism colleges are saddled with the responsibility of promoting their professionalism. Because of the diversity of the educational system of the tourism colleges, the modes of educating professionalism are diverse and the effects are uneven. The Five-year Higher Vocational Education is the fresh blood in the higher vocational education. It is worth researching the current situation of the education of the students'professionalism, considering many factors that the Five-year Higher Vocational Education in China starts late, the age group of the students is particular, the structure of teaching staff is complex, etc. And meanwhile it is more worth researching how to improve the current educating system of the students'professionalism, because of the large percentage of the number of the students at the five-year higher vocational schools in the total number at all the higher vocational colleges.The research is based on the real situations of the students majoring in tourism at Wuxi Higher Vocational School of Tourism and Commerce. And the study is based on the questionnaire survey which includes the features, goals, subject, object, contents, approaches, evaluation system and assurance system of the moral education. The subjects are chosen from the students majoring in Tourism at Wuxi Higher Vocational School of Tourism and Commerce. It takes over one year to make the follow-up study, discussions and other forms of study with the teachers, the parents of the students and the personnel in the tourism industry. The related materials that have been collected are analyzed and show that there are not only the advantages in the educating the professionalism of the students majoring in tourism, but also much room for improvement. Theories of Constructivism, Multiple Intelligence, Tacit Knowledge and Situated Learning Model furnish the theoretical bases for the research, which also analyzes the situation of the rapid development of the tourism industry in China and the features and requirements of the professionalism education of the students majoring in tourism at the Five-year Higher Vocational School. It seeks the problem sources and solutions psychologically and aims to offer the reference materials and suggestions to the future staff training of the Five-year Higher Vocational Education.In a word, the research on the current status and the consequence of the professionalism education of the students majoring in tourism at the Five-year Higher Vocational School has practical value and enlightenment to the completion of the education system of the students'professionalism, the achievements of the approaches and the promotion of the effects.
