A Study On The Adaptability Of Higher Vocational Education And Economic Industry In West China

Under the background of implementing the western development, the western should seize the strategic opportunity, use of all available resources to speed up its own development. And, in order to narrow the differences between eastern and western area, and make our country took to the balanced development of all roses as soon as possible. The western’s economic development cannot be separated from a high quality team of skilled talents. As is well-known, the higher vocational education regards cultivating hundreds of millions of high-quality skilled talents, which is the power source of the economy industrial development in western area. Analyzing the adaptability of the higher vocational education and economy industrial in the western area rationally, which can better help us to clarify the status quo of western’s adaptability of the higher vocational education and economy industrial, to provide a new direction about the reform of the higher vocational education in western areas and to promote the rapid development of western’s economy industrial.In this paper, through counting the western’s higher vocational education students number, per capita GDP, higher vocational and professional categories of putting the development of the three big industry, to study the adaptability of the higher vocational education and economy industrial from dimensions of the scale and structure of higher vocational education. And then, comparing with the eastern’s adaptability of the higher vocational education and economy industrial during the same period. At last, according to the data analysis results on the development of the western’s higher vocational education to provide some corresponding suggestions. This paper includes four chapters, the main content of each chapter are arranged as following:The first chapter is introduction. This chapter mainly elaborates the subject, the background and the meaning, the current of situation at home and abroad, the ideas and methods of the study, defining the relevant concepts of the study and the possible innovation and deficiency.The second chapter is the related theories about the higher vocational education and economy. Mainly illustrate the related theories, which include "Education Productivity Nature Theory", "Regional Comprehensive Competitiveness Theory", "Triple Helix Theory" and "Systems Theory".The third chapter is the analysis about adaptability of the higher vocational education and economy industrial in the western area. In this chapter, the author uses the comparative study method to compare the eastern’s higher vocational education development with western’s. This study mainly analyses adaptability of the higher vocational education and economy industrial in the western area from two dimensions of the scale and structure of higher vocational education. The author uses the "higher vocational education elasticity coefficient" to analyze the relationship between the scale of higher vocational education and economic growth. The author also uses the method of "first, reclassifies the higher vocational professions according to the three industrial structures, and then, analyses the matching analysis between the reclassified professional points and the western’s development of three industries. Finally, according to the analysis of the two dimensions about the scale and structure, the author draws a conclusion about the adaptability of higher vocational education and economic industrial in western area.The fourth chapter is the strategic choices about the higher vocational education development in the western area. In this part, the author firstly analyzes the study’s conclusion and the cause of the western’s higher vocational education development lag behind the eastern’s. Secondly, according to the related study conclusion to put forward some suggestions on the development of the higher vocational education in the western area.
