The Study On The Development Of China's Paper Manufacturing Industry From The Perspective Of Industry Chain

As the development of the global economy, the economic entities connect much closer with each other. The competition between those enterprises has changed to the competition between the industries they are in, which make the industry chain and integration development strategy become the most popular strategy among the modern companies.As an important basic raw material industry in China, Paper industry has developed very fast in the past years, which has a huge market potential. However, in 2007, China's paper industry confronted the oversupply situation firstly, indicating that the current development model of China's paper industry can no longer meet the development of this industry, and the adjustment and upgrade of China's paper industry has become an important issue which brings both challenge and opportunity for the paper manufacturing companies. This thesis is to make the study on the China's paper industry from the perspective of industry chain theory, aiming to have a deep understanding about the China's paper industry systematically and wish the result of the study can supply reference for the development strategy making process of those paper manufacturing enterprises in China.The thesis starts with the research about the industry chain theory by collecting and analysis amounts of literatures, which includes the definition of the industry chain, the characteristics of it, the types of it, the formation mechanism of it, the strategy link of it and the application of it. This part is on the purpose to pave the way for the next research.On the base of theory research, the thesis begins the study of China's paper industry. Firstly, the author collects as much data as he can about the industry and makes scientific analysis. The third part includes three parts:the research about the forestry industry, the research about the paper pulp industry and the research about the paper manufacturing industry. In this part, many kinds of methods are applied at the analyzing process so as to come up with scientific and reliable research results.The thesis makes a deep research about the China's paper manufacturing industry from the perspective of the industry chain, which has an important significance at the field of both theory and practice. Sincerely hope the research results of the thesis would of great help to the research about the China's paper manufacturing industry and for those paper manufacturing enterprises in China.
