As information technology advances, the traditional management approaches of the project cost have not keep up with the times.Construction cost informationization as a main componet of construction field informationization, will play an important role in project cost management and also be the important back-up, and lead the future development direction of project cost management.With the constant increase changes in construction cost information,Construction cost informationization faces challenge and innovation.price information, especially labor costs, material prices, is the best embodiment of the dynamic variation characteristic and one of construction cost information which play an important role in the market mechanism. Labor cost information is the basis of reasonably determination of wages of construction workers for both parties of construction labor contract, rational payment of wages of constuction workers, the mediation of labor and wage disputes and the assessment of project bidding costs.Material price information is an important basis for determination and control of construction cost.Due to wide varieties of materials, constant appearances of new materials and different quoted prices of building materials suppliers, it's difficult to master the market of building materials.Therefore, this paper attempts to use cloud computing technology to create the labor and material price information platform which will provide most timely and rich cost information services at the core of building materials, labor, and machinery prices, that adapts the new situation of the construction markets, focuses on services for construction markets and project cost management.Firstly this paper analyses the domestic and overseas researches on construction cost informationization and cloud computing,summarize the cloud computing and describes the reasons and advantages of building the price information platform based on cloud computing; focus on the functional requirements analysis, puts forward that the platform involves the labor cost system and material price system.The labor cost system is divided into types of labor costs information system and labor costs information system in real object quantities,which both includes collection, measurement and statistical inquiry several modules. Material price information system consists of information price system, the supplier quotation system and online inquiry system.Based on functional analysis,this paper designs the system,select the Google App Engine, and designs from the database,file storage,and the development and deployment of application three aspects.Finally, it takes the types of labor cost information systems and materials information price system for an example, describes the sample database creation, four key technology implementations, display of some functions and the analysis of results.
