Research On The Association Between Regional Economy Development And Marine Environment

With the fast development of coastal areas economy, marine environment is now confronting with the tendency of gradually deterioration. At the same time, the historical statistical data of regional economic development and marine environment monitoring related could also be collected in the processes of these businesses. It has been a hot issue for scientists and decision makers that how to apply these data efficiently to analyze the association between regional economy and marine environment with the aid of appropriate algorithm statistical model and so on, which will provide scientific evidence for harmonious development between regional economy and marine environment.At first, this paper conducted the research on existing accomplishments in respect of the association between regional economy and marine environment elaborately, and with the comparison of various association analysis methods, this paper proposed a method to analyze the association between regional economy and marine environment which integrate Grey Relational Analysis(GRA) method with Gravity Model(GM). GRA can quantize the association of factors', especially on the fuzzy uncertain and dynamic system, while GM can make it clear whether the influence factor will be positive to the association or not. On the basis of analysis and argumentation, this paper built an initial assessment factor index system of Economy-Marine Environment. By taking a decade data of a costal city of our country as an analysis sample, This paper applied the Factor Analysis method to decrease the dimension and with the analysis of factors'contributing rate and the reality of the research, The final assesment index system of Economy-Marine Environment was established, which will help to ensure the parameters and data series of GM and GRA; On the basis of the final index system, this paper built the GRA and GM models successively to calculate the association's intensity of influence factors and analyze the positive and negative correlation of influence factors'in the Economy-Marine Environment system.At last, By taking the chosen sample to analyze and data mining as the example, this paper verifed the method of integrating GRA with GM to analyze the association between economy and marine environment. It was proved that the method which proposed above is feasible, and this method can be applied in the practical work, which will provide the reasonable evidence for the decision makers when establishing the policy of regional economy development.
