The Research On Evaluation Of Chinese Listed Companies' Sustainable Development Capacity

Sustainable development strategy has become a common strategic choice in today's world. Particularly after the meeting in Copenhagen in 2009, the concepts of Low-carbon economy and sustainable development profoundly affected all of aspects such as political, economic, social and cultural. As a micro foundation for sustainable development, enterprises'sustainable development is increasingly being valued by people.Listed companies are the most dynamic and dominant business groups and the significance of their sustainable development is especially important. How to evaluate the capacity of sustainable development of Chinese listed companies with a correct method is a new topic that has theoretical and practical significance.Based on empirical analysis of listed companies of Coal Industry, this paper proposes the "RIR" enterprise sustainable development theory from three dimensions, resources, innovation and responsibility. We constructed the evaluation index system of ability of sustainable development of listed companies on three aspects including the ability to obtain resources, to continuously innovate and to fulfill responsibilities. Using the Chinese A-share market listed companies in the coal industry as the research sample, this article uses the coefficient of variation method to weight indicators of the index system objectively and then obtains sustainable development rankings based on "RIR" theory. On this basis, this paper does a correlation research about the traditional ranking and ranking of relevant research to examine the objectivity and reference value of "RIR" theory.Finally, this paper summarizes the approaches and strategies to improve sustainable development capacity of china's listed companies from three aspects: recycle economy or Low-carbon economy model, innovation and social responsibility.
