After mainland China implemented Reform and Opening during 1980s and following a thaw in cross-straits political affairs and economic trade relations.Taiwanese entrepreneurs pursuiting investment in mainland China has become a trend. Nevertheless, after many years of cross-straits separation, a mutual and significant divergence has been created in factors of culture, society, mold and condition of consciousness, work values, and political system and economic systems.Those factors cause Taiwanese entrepreneurs who has implemented cross-straits management,especially in the aspects of human resource management, to faced with obstructions and setbacks. Therefore, the goal of this thesis is to investigate and compare the relationships and conditions of work values and work attitudes(organizational commitments and job involement) of cross-straits franchise chain store employees. We hope that we can know the principle of "correctly estimating your own strength as well as the trength of your opponents" to supply Taiwanese entrepreneurs with efficient crossstraits human resource management.In this research, we investigated the employees of two franchise chain stores mainly by questionare.These two franchise chain store are located in Taipei and Nanjing.We analyzed by SPSS statistical software.The data collected is made by statistical methods such as one way ANOV,Pearson correlation analysis and regression, we conclude two major results as follows.1.There is a difference for work value and work attitude between Taiwanese employees and Chinese employees. The work value of Taiwanese employees are higher than that of Chinese employees. Chinese employees pay more attention to the essential indemnification than Taiwanese employees.Taiwanese employees are higher than Chinese employees for job involement. In addition, we also found that Taiwanese employees pay more attention to job representation, life and job responsibility than Chineese employees. Taiwanese employees are higher than chineese employees in the organizational commitment.We also found that the Taiwanese employees focus on the loyalty relationship of middle level, on the other hand Chinese employees concentrated on the loyalty relationship of lower level.2. The Work value of employees will affect their work attitude. After analyzing the data, we found there was no certain relation between the work value and organizational commitment of Taiwanese employees. We could find the higher the attention of work value of Chinese employees, the higher the levels of job involvement and organizational commitment of Chinese employees.
