Since the beginning of reform and opening up, as one of the fastest growing sector in China's economy, rural private enterprises outside the'formal'economy system, it has been an important force in promoting rural industrialization and urbanization. It is thought-provoking that rural private enterprises have its unique mode of development limited by its own special rural environment, the fast development'is not merely a coincidence'. As a new social group, Private entrepreneurs has been appeared in a number of researchers'vision since the late 1980s, however, these scholars mainly focused their attention on the urban private entrepreneurs, they mainly concern explanation for groups attributes of private entrepreneurs, social class, labor relations and political participation, while lack of studying on private entrepreneurs'social capital in mainland village of less-developed regions.This study used unstructured interviews and social capital theory of Coleman and Bourdieu as the theoretical basis to study private entrepreneurs'social capital and its operational strategies of specific rural industries in less-developed mainland. I try to pry into the private business owners and business success of capital accumulation mechanism, and attempt to contact the current changes in rural social structure, and then make the interpretation for the possibility of the background.This paper is divided into five chapters. The first chapter is an introduction that introduced the problem of the origin, purpose, the existing literature searching, basic theory and research methods. The second focused on the choice of subjects, the introduction of village and feather processing enterprises. The third chapter research mainly on the rural private entrepreneurs'unique form of social capital, such as obtaining channel of information, trust and informal norms ("Renqing", reciprocity, face), etc. The fourth Chapter made social capital operation of rural private entrepreneurs oriented to the practical level specifically. I discussed specific strategies for the operation of their social capital on the micro level; then make the analysis on three basic strategies for rural private entrepreneurs who use the selective construction for the social network strategy, renqing-investment strategy and converting capital strategy. The fifth chapter is conclusion and discussion. First, it is a summary of the previous text, and then drawled the conclusions on the basis of relative analysis. Then, made generalization and promotion from existing social capital theory and practical issues and try to explore the possibilities of these linking the current social structure.
