The Research On Operation Model Of The Fourth Party Logistics In International Exhibitions

China's exhibition economy developed very quickly after holding Beijing Olympic Games and Shanghai EXPO2010. Logistics is necessary for success of an international exhibition, from hall building, transportation, storage to goods back after exhibition closed. Logistics is so important in exhibitions, but the research of professional logistics service provider is rare. The object of this thesis is researching operation model of the 4th party logistics (4PL) which a new logistic organization in international exhibitions, standing in the perspective of professional logistics service provider.First, this thesis analyze the feature of international exhibition logistics and it's supply chain, point out the complete outsourcing model is the best modern organize model. The 4PL which fit the diversity of international exhibition logistics can not only achieve it's goal of complete outsourcing and integration, but also provide Value-added services. Because of the feature of international exhibition logistics, the 4PL who want to play a important role in it had better run at industry innovation model.In connection with the preceding conclusions, this thesis researches the operation model of the 4PL in international exhibitions from five aspects, which are running mechanism, operation pattern, the main body of operation, the content of service, operation progress. Next, this thesis proposes and resolves three problems about the operation of the 4PL in international exhibitions, which are selection of partners, methods of collaboration and integration of information system.At last, because the exhibition logistics industry of China stays low level, this thesis also proposes some countermeasures for the development of the 4PL in international exhibitions.
