A Study On Marxist Social Capital Reproduction Theory And Upgrading Of Industrial Structure In China

Social capital reproduction theory was proposed by Marx in the 19th century, which was a crystallization of Marx's profound understanding of capitalist market economy. Being an unprecedented great practice, China's current socialist market economy should be constructed under guidance of Marxist social capital reproduction theory.Firstly, this thesis briefly stated Marxist social capital reproduction theory and summarized Marxist simple reproduction theory and expanded reproduction theory, which provided theoretical basis for this thesis. Secondly, this paper defined concept of industrial structure upgrading and elaborated correlation theories of industrial structure upgrading; summarized historical development of China's industrial structure upgrading since reforming and opening up, and analyzed structural relationship of China's industrial structure evolution; considered main problems existed in China's industrial structure upgrading. Thirdly, this thesis integrated specific theory of Marxist social capital reproduction with practice of China's industrial structure upgrading, evaluated Marxist social capital reproduction theory through practice of China's industrial structure upgrading. Finally, taking international and domestic economic environment and international industrial structure upgrading environment into account, considering main problems existed in China's industrial structure upgrading, based on Marxist social capital reproduction theory, the author gave several suggestions for further China's industrial structure upgrading:(1) Government regulation should maintain balance of each industrial department' development.(2) Current low carbon economy should be a method to solve environment and resources problems of economic development, which should be actively promoted by government.(3) China's industrial structure upgrading requires enterprises to transfer from extensive expanded economy to intensive expanded economy.(4) Since overproduction emerges gradually in domestic market, parts of less effective enterprises should be eliminated to adapt requirements of market. Meanwhile, enterprises should persist in innovation and upgrading industrial structures, assuring enhancement of competitiveness.(5) Government should increase income of residents and establish a sound social security system to enhance upgrading of consumption structure, which can promote industrial structure upgrading.
