The Study On Mechanism Between R & D Management And Innovation Performance In Network

Under the background of globalisation and the development of Information and Communications Technology (ICT), on one hand, the global market is more and more open, companies can gather much more information through a large amount of diverse resource, and it takes little time. Therefore, information and technology is much easier to get to, this phenomena accelerate innovation outputs. Many small and middle enterprises with great potential can compete international giant in the market with its particular and advantageous technology and product; on the other hand, many companies without or with little innovation can not fit these changes and lose their position in the market then go downhill or bankrupt. However, many companies have already realized that if a company wants to win a continuous advantageous situation in this environment, she can not only rely on her own. Networking of firms'organization and innovation pattern can be a really efficient way to go. This pattern can maximize the resource reached and minimized the risk, so that to make firms'management more efficient and to improve innovation performance. This thesis is based on the comprehension above, choosing networking as the analytical angle. Referring to abundant literature and the need of empirical analysis, networking is replaced by networking competence, to discuss its influence to R&D management and innovation performance.First of all, through an overview of domestic and foreign literature and concepts of networking, innovation performance, and also characteristics of R&D management in network, the framework is proposed. Then in need for empirical study, three hypotheses are put forwards. On this basis, a questionnaire is designed using Richter scale 7 as measures of questions. Samples are high-tech enterprises in Dalian Software Park, for they have the characteristics of networking and intense R&D activities. This can be a good validation of the hypothesis. In analysis of the data, I used SPSSV18 and LISREL8.7 to do the exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis, to verify reasonableness of questions and to validate hypothesis. Finally, based on the theoretical and empirical analysis, I put forward some suggestions in improving innovation performance of Chinese companies.
