A Study On Domestic Retail Industry Status Quo And Professional Talents Cultivation

With the further development of global economic integration, the world economic pattern has manifested interactional futures, just as the common saying goes A slight move in one part may affect the situation as a whole. Especially the world-wide economic crises triggered by the United States since 2008, which followed by the debt crises in Dubai and Greece, gave a series of objective evidences of a closely correlated integration within today's global economy.After its accession to the WTO on December 11th, 2001, China opened its commodity circulation industry on December 11th, 2004 for overseas investment with national treatment to foreign capital enterprises, and even super national treatment in some areas. Then, a direct competition, for the domestic commodity circulation market share, was rapidly established between the multinational retailing magnates and China's national retailers.From then on, China's national retail enterprises had totally lost their native politic advantage. Their own problems gradually emerged in the presence of transnational retail giants who win advantages on capital, management, operation scale, logistics, and information technology. Therefore, national retail enterprises responsibility for enhancing the brand's globalization competitiveness and the development of the national retail industry.Therefore, a deeper research on international retailing giants'core competence, the professional training mode for retailing talents, should be used for reference in establishing professional talent team training mode and related policies for China's retailing, all of which are of great practical significance for studies on China's national retail enterprises on professional talent education and training mode.The first chapter of this thesis analyzes the development and status of national retailing, and explains its important position in national economy as well as expound its the directivity and significance of studies on related issues. Chapter Two gives relevant explanation and analysis of retail formats of China's and international retailers, and the development trend of global retailing, so that we can get a better understanding of retailing industry status and form structure, especially the development trend of international retailing which conduce to make clear about the development direction of national retailing. Chapter Three analyzes the positive influences of professional talent cultivation of China's retailing, and also indicates the importance of professional talents in cultivating national retail business's core competitiveness. Chapter Four makes a comparative analysis on respective advantages and disadvantages of China's retail enterprises and foreign-owned retail giants, confirming that professional talent education and cultivation are the first core competitiveness of enterprises. Continued with the proceeding chapter, chapter five analyzes the talent training mode of retailing giants. Through mastering retailing development status, this thesis intends to put forward scientific basis for supporting arguments. Chapter Six studies and proposes the professional talents training mode for China's retailing, supporting policies'safeguard measures.The competition in the 21st century is competition for talents. Hence, those who possess sufficient talent resource have the initiative in competitiveness. It is the large group of compound talents with global foresight that enable those international retail giants to expand their business on global scale. In particular, the established talent training system is beneficial to make the talent echelon develop into a virtuous cycle, so that they can make more contributions to their companies and continually consolidate and improve competitiveness. Therefore, that's why we regard the talent as the core motive force and drive source in enterprises'competition.
