The fundamental function of the team is to raise the organization's overall performance; however, for many years in China, the team-building in large state-owned enterprises such as China Telecom has not been getting enough attention. Yuanjiang Telecom, as an important income-generating strategy unit county level branch, to conduct research and analysis on its team-building, can not only improve its team performance, but also put forward some suggestions on team-building for state-owned enterprises and general corporate.First of all, the author takes the performance evaluation as the entry point of team-building, expounds the basis of this research integrated team theory. This paper introduces the research on team-building theory at home and abroad. Firstly, theconnotation and nature of the team are reviewed,then introduces types of the team , the main channels of team-building, and some of the basic theory, including group dynamics, motivation theory, communication theory and team roles theory. The author introduces the team-building status of Yuanjiang Branch Company of China Telecom. And analyzes environment change faced by Yuanjiang Branch Company of China Telecom, including the new demands on team-building of China Telecom on the grass-roots and new deployment of team-building of Hunan Telecom. On this basis, challenges on team-building of Yuanjiang Branch Company of China Telecom are analysed. The team performance evaluation model is established from two levels of middle managers and junior staff. The author designs questionnaire and carries out empirical research on the team-building of Yuanjiang Telecom accordingly to it. From the perspective of an effective team building, the author analysis the problems encountered by Yuanjiang Branch Company in team-building process. Finally, this paper puts forward improvement project for team-building of Yuanjiang Branch Company, including the overall ideas of raising team performance, the specific improvement measures and the corresponding supporting measures.
