The Study Of Evaluation And Influencing Factors Of Urban-Rural Coordinative Development In Chongqing

Throughout human history, urban and rural development is a dialectical historical process. Separation of urban and rural is ascribed to the development of social productive forces, dualization of urban and rural is a problem that all the countries will face in the process of urbanization, and coordinative development of urban and rural is also the necessary requirement for the future social productive forces. Since the reform and opening, China's comprehensive national strength and economic strength has obtained the rapid development and people's living standards greatly improved, which has made remarkable achievements. However, urban-rural dual structure has not been fundamentally improved, and the urban-rural gap seems to be enlarged more. Based on this background, the 16th party congress firstly proposed the strategy of urban-rural coordinative development. Since Chongqing was approved to be the Pilot Zone for Overall Reform of urban-rural coordinative development, Chongqing has great improvement in recent years. As a case study of Chongqing, this paper firstly establish the Index System of CODBUR based on time series, then evaluate the level of urban-rural coordinative development and find out the main influencing factors, in order to better promote the urban-rural coordinative development.This paper studies the theory of dualistic economic structure, theory of dualistic geographic structure and Marxian urban-rural integration theory, then expatiates the necessary and connotation of urban-rural coordinative development based on the China's basic condition.In the aspect of establishing Index System of CODBUR based on time series, under the principle of science, comprehensiveness, feasibility and stability, combined with the purpose of this study, considering the availability of data, this paper establishes the Index System of CODBUR based on time series, which includes eight specific indicators that respectively reflect the life level, infrastructure, financial distribution and industrial structure of urban-rural residents.Through comparative analysis among relevant evaluation methods, this paper chooses Factor Analysis as the evaluation method. Using above established Index System of CODBUR based on time series, this paper measures the level of urban-rural coordinative development in Chongqing from 1997 to 2008, in order to find out the overall trend of urban-rural coordinative development, then put forward some policy suggestions.
