Research On The Evaluation Of The Integration Level Of Chongqing's Urban And Rural Development

Urban and rural areas are two areas with different connotations and interconnectedness.The two are interdependent and affect each other.Cities provide economic and social security for rural development,and rural areas are a solid foundation for urban development.Since the reform and opening up,China's economy has rapidly taken off.Chongqing's urban and rural areas are changing with each passing day.However,under the urban development path,the pace of urban construction is far faster than that of rural areas.The gap between urban and rural areas has increasingly become an obstacle to further development.The issue of agriculture has received increasing attention,and the integration of urban and rural development is the fundamental way to solve the “three rural issues”.It is necessary to increase the overall development of urban and rural areas,increase the vitality of rural development,gradually narrow the gap between urban and rural areas,promote the coordinated development of urban and rural areas,and ultimately achieve common prosperity.Due to the influence of various subjective and objective factors such as natural conditions,geographical location and policy system,the level of urban-rural integration in Chongqing is relatively low,the development gap between urban and rural areas is large,and the goal is to build a new socialist countryside and achieve a well-off society.There is still a huge gap between the urban and rural areas,which seriously affects the overall economic level of Chongqing and the realization of macroeconomic goals.Judging from the laws of economic and social development and the development experience in developed regions,urban-rural integration will be the general trend of the city's future urban-rural relationship development.This article attempts to demonstrate and analyze this development trend from an empirical perspective.Based on the current research on the evaluation of urban-rural development integration level,this paper constructs an integrated urban-rural development evaluation index system that includes an indicator level,five indicators,and 50 basic indicators,and then applies principal component analysis to me.The city's urban and rural development integration level was measured and analyzed from 2000 to 2016.The results of research and analysis show that from 2000 to 2016,the overall urban-rural integration index of Chongqing and all other aspects of the index are on the rise.The overall gap between urban and rural areas is continuously narrowing,which is in line with the urban-rural integration of economic and social development.From the perspective of various basic indicators,the improvement of the integration of urban and rural development is mainly due to the improvement of rural transport infrastructure,the enhancement of network infrastructure and technology,and the improvement of urbanization,while the lack of basic education in rural areas and the lack of social security Perfection and inadequate housing area have resisted the increase in the integration of urban and rural development.Finally,according to the main influencing factors of urban-rural integration,combined with the actual situation in Chongqing,put forward targeted countermeasures and proposals to promote the development of urban-rural integration.
