Electronics Product Engineering Change Management

Physical product should be theoretically acquired confirmation at the form, configuration and function after formal released. But the confirmation is always temporary. Product is impacted by both internal and external factors along the lifecycle, especially for the rapid developing electronics product. Uncertain interrupts on the whole supply chain are continually increased; high speed accumulation of electronics technology and knowledge is increasing the products complexity, which also led to the requirement diversity, more and more short product generation; the level of environment protection and safety becomes much higher. All of the factors will possibly impact on the product by the mode of direct or indirect, so there is still material supply, quality and function problems even a product entering manufacture stage. The solution to these problems may cause product's change. The actions of analysis, review, planning, coordination, implementation and control on product change compose Product's engineering change management.Engineering change impacting horizontally the supply chain from vendor to customer and all the departments related with product practicing including technology and material is complex system engineering. The thesis is to plan the process and apply Petri Net to analyze and evaluate the process for effectively manage the change.
