Research On The H Shipyard's Materials Procurement Management

After entering the new century, economic globalization has become more evident, and China rose in the boat market in 2010 rapidly, becoming the largest shipbuilding country in the world. However, with the advantage "low labor cost" of China Shipbuilding disappeared, the boat market depressed continually, raw material and equipment prices rose sharply, the pressure of the cost of the shipyard increases. According to the research, the purchase cost of a boat in shipyards accounts for more than 60% of total vessels. Therefore, improving material procurement management in shipyards is the key ways to reduce costs, namely, to get profits by management. Meanwhile, the modern shipbuilding model is based on information technology, but as an important part of informationization in shipyards, material procurement informationization also plays a vital role for logistics management and controlling procurement costs of logistics.This paper firstly introduces effect of the shipbuilding industry for national economic construction, the importance of materials procurement management, the necessity of imformatization, and analyzes the deficiencies of materials procurement management in H shipyards in depth according to materials procurement management concept, combining with H shipyard materials procurement management status quo. And, this paper focuses on supplier management in shipyards for future shipyard Careful management of suppliers based on selection and evaluation of suppliers by analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method. Then, this paper intends to restructure model of actual business of materials procurement management and optimize business processes thereof according to the characteristics of materials procurement management in H shipyard. Finally, this paper intends to construct materials procurement management framework with basic functions suitable for the current situation of materials procurement management in Chinese shipyards, and introduce the function of the framework.
