Research On The Innovation Mode Of Industrial Design Under Industry-University-Research Cooperation (IURC) In SME In Zhejiang Province

With the 2008 financial crisis since the advent of small and medium enterprises(SMEs) in Zhejiang Province were deeply influenced, especially many OEM-based manufacturing enterprises. In this situation, many SMEs go up to the road of independent innovation. So how to carry out industrial design innovation is one important issue. When I participated in a research project with an Anji seat manufacture, I understood this matter fully. In this paper for the urgent need for innovative SMEs in Zhejiang Province in transition, I put Anji chair of industrial design innovation business as a case study to draw on for reference.This paper defines what is industrial design innovation, Illustrates the significance and the effect to launch industrial design innovation. Then analyzed the small and medium enterprises in Zhejiang Province in industrial design innovation that exist in some common situations, and points out some of the problems which exist. In the contradiction that urgent needs of the industrial design innovation and industrial design innovation blindly carried out, I proposes a research cooperative under the IURC about the industrial design innovation in the Zhejiang Province. And explain the cooperation under the IURC mode, research the ability of the Industrial Design profession in Zhejiang Province. I think give full play to the province's innovation capability of industrial design discipline is reasonable and necessary.In the following pages, I put a innovation project with An Anji seat manufacturer as a example, analyze the problems during the cooperation, And describe the process between this manufacturer and university. Finally, I based on this cooperation, compared to design innovative models of existing industrial design, present a industrial design innovation mode which appropriate SMEs in Zhejiang Province.It should be noted, now in academia, the research about the combine of industrial design innovation and IURC is very few. This paper is also an Initial exploration about this area. I hope the viewpoint in this paper could help the SMEs onto the road of independent innovation.
