A Study On The Strategy Management Of Dong Hai Electric Power Co. Ltd.

With the development of the market economy, the competition of enterprises is becoming more and more competitive. Improving the level of enterprise's strategic management is becoming important means to enhance its market competitiveness. How to establish a suitable and sustainable enterprise strategic management becomes an urgent problem to be solved.On the basis of literature review on the researches in and out of China, this thesis conducted research on strategic management of Dong Hai Electric Power Company. On the basis of enterprise strategic management theory, this thesis analyzed the existing strategic management problems of Dong Hai Electric Power Company .Through SWOT analysis, the thesis analyzed the strength, weakness, opportunity and threat of the Dong Hai Electric Power Company, recognized the present situation of the strategic management of Dong Hai Electric Power Company, and looked for the development opportunity of Dong Hai Electric Power Company. Then the thesis established four kinds of development strategies: integrated strategy, diversified strategy, defended strategy and retreated strategy. Integrated strategy is accelerating the pace of electric power construction, doing stronger and bigger the main business of electric power,outspreading industry chain and vigorously developing the non-electric industry. Diversified strategy is keeping the normal electric power production, at the same time actively concerning other new fields, capturing opportunity and entering actively. Defended strategy is concentrating manpower and financial resources on producing electric power. Retreated strategy is cleaning power assets and turning to other business field. With the method of expert questionnaire survey, this thesis released 55 questionnaires to related experts and actually recovered 50 efficacious questionnaires. After analysis the thesis drew the preliminary conclusion that the anticipated result of integrated strategy and diversified strategy is good. With the method of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation, the thesis assessed the anticipated result of the two strategies quantitatively and found that integrated strategy is most excellent.
